Replacing the stops of the trunk lid Nissan Note

1. Raise the tailgate and secure it in the open position (for example, with a block of wood of suitable length). Alternatively, ask an assistant to support the door.

2. Pry with a flathead screwdriver and slide the retainer on the bottom hinge of the stop.

3. Disconnect the hinge from the support on the tailgate.

4. Pry with a screwdriver, slide the retainer and disconnect the upper hinge of the stop from the support on the body.

5. Remove the stop.

6. If necessary, replace the Nissan Note trunk lid stop with a new one.

7. In the same way, remove the stop on the other side.

8. Apply grease to the bearings. Install the Nissan Note tailgate stops in the reverse order of removal.
