Hyundai Creta Front Door Interior Handle Replacement

Note:

The need for work is determined during the inspection of the technical condition of the body.

Before replacing the interior handle on Crete, you will first need to remove the front door trim. You can read more about how to do it right in this article.

It is also advisable to disconnect the wire from the “negative” terminal of the battery with a 10 mm wrench.

Hyundai Creta Front Door Interior Handle Replacement

1.  Place the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the ignition.

2. Pry with a flathead screwdriver and remove the trim. 

3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screw under the Hyundai Crete inner door handle trim.

4. Also turn out the fastening screw in a niche of a door.

5.  Wring out caps of fastening of a covering and take it aside.

6. Disconnect from the door handle of the Hyundai Crete the lock drive rod, as well as the wire blocks.

7. Remove trim.

8. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the 4 screws securing the handle and snap off the latch (pry with a screwdriver).

9. Remove the handle.

10. If necessary, replace the Hyundai Creta front door interior handle with a new one.

Note:

Original Hyundai/Kia front handle numbers

11. Install the Creta handle on the door card in the reverse order of removal.

12.  Check the condition of the holders. Replace damaged ones with new ones.  

13.  Establish a covering of a door in an order, the return to removal. Press it firmly against the door panel so that the clips are firmly seated in the holes.

14 . Make sure the door locks/unlocks and opens/closes correctly.
