Water pump replacement Nissan Qashqai 2007 - 2013

Tools:

• Nozzle on the crank 10 mm
• socket wrench

Parts and consumables:

• Complete pump
• Container for draining coolant

Note:

The pump is removed for repair or replacement in case of leakage of coolant from the pump shaft seal, as well as in case of noise during its operation, the level of which exceeds the usual level and which appears when a large radial play of the pump shaft is formed. Dismantling the pump is quite laborious, therefore, in the event of a malfunction, we recommend replacing the pump assembly.

Replacing the water pump (pump) with a Nissan Qashqai

1. Drain the liquid from the engine cooling system.

2. Remove the accessory drive belt.

3. Turn out 2 bolts of fastening of the water pump to the engine from a pulley.

4. Then unscrew the  2  bolts from the back.

5. Remove the Nissan Qashqai water pump.

6. Remove the pump gasket from the engine.

Note:

Water pump removed.

7. Install the water pump on the Nissan Qashqai and all parts in the reverse order of removal.
