The switch for Toyota Yaris 2 headlights and direction indicators works regardless of the position of the key in the ignition lock.

1. When you turn the switch knob to the first click (ON1 position), the dimensions, illumination of the instrument cluster and the license plate are turned on.

2. When you turn the switch knob to the second click (position ON2), the dipped headlights of Toyota Yaris 2 are turned on.

Note:

If the headlamp / turn signal switch is in the "ON1" or "ON2" position with the ignition key in the "OFF" position and the driver's door is open, a buzzer will sound to warn you to turn off the headlights .

To turn on the high beam headlights,  the light switch must be turned to the "ON2" position (the low beam must be on).

Push the switch away from you. The operation of the main beam headlights is accompanied by the illumination of the corresponding indicator on the instrument cluster.

To briefly turn on the high beam headlights (high beam signaling), pull the switch towards you as far as it will go, then release it.

To turn off the fog lights, turn the inner dial on the lever to the "OFF" position.

The alarm can be turned on at any position of the key in the ignition lock. To activate the alarm, press the switch located as shown in the figure.
