Control of external lighting Toyota Yaris II 2005 - 2012

Notes:

To avoid discharging the battery with the engine off, do not leave Toyota Yaris 2 headlights on for a long period of time.

Inclusion of dimensions, headlights, illumination of a combination of devices and a license plate

The switch for Toyota Yaris 2 headlights and direction indicators works regardless of the position of the key in the ignition lock.

1. When you turn the switch knob to the first click (ON1 position), the dimensions, illumination of the instrument cluster and the license plate are turned on.

2. When you turn the switch knob to the second click (position ON2), the dipped headlights of Toyota Yaris 2 are turned on.

Note:

If the headlamp / turn signal switch is in the "ON1" or "ON2" position with the ignition key in the "OFF" position and the driver's door is open, a buzzer will sound to warn you to turn off the headlights .

To turn on the high beam headlights,  the light switch must be turned to the "ON2" position (the low beam must be on).

Push the switch away from you. The operation of the main beam headlights is accompanied by the illumination of the corresponding indicator on the instrument cluster.

To turn off the high beam headlights and turn on the low beam headlights, move the switch to its original position (towards yourself).

To briefly turn on the high beam headlights (high beam signaling), pull the switch towards you as far as it will go, then release it.

Move the switch up or down to activate the direction indicator . The switch will automatically return to its original position after completing the rotation. However, when changing lanes, you may need to manually return the switch to neutral.

To activate the lane change alarm, move the switch up or down until movement resistance occurs and set it in this position.  

Attention:

If the direction indicator lights on the instrument cluster flash more often than usual, this means that the far or near direction indicator lamp has burned out. 

The front fog lights can only be turned on when the dimensions are working or the low / high beam headlights. The front fog lamps are switched on by turning the rim of the switch knob to position 1. The corresponding indicator on the instrument cluster lights up).

Rear fog lights can only be turned on when the dimensions are working or the high / low beam headlights. The rear fog lamps are switched on by moving the bezel on the switch handle up (the corresponding indicator on the instrument cluster is on). 

To turn off the fog lights, turn the inner dial on the lever to the "OFF" position.

The alarm can be turned on at any position of the key in the ignition lock. To activate the alarm, press the switch located as shown in the figure.

Note:

Use this switch when you have to stop on the road or in an accident.
