The frequency of oil changes is every 10-15 thousand km or once a year.

We carry out the work on a viewing ditch or overpass.

We carry out the replacement with the engine off (preferably immediately after the trip) until the oil has cooled down.

Note:

You need to check the level after 5 minutes so that it has time to drain into the crankcase.

A WARNING:

If the Chevrolet Cruze oil level is higher than the MAX mark, some of the oil must be drained. The oil level should be between the MIN and MAX marks.

Helpful hints:

It is convenient to use a funnel to make it easier to add oil. If there is no funnel for adding oil, you can make a funnel from the neck of a plastic bottle.

If you need to reset the oil service life calculation system, you still need to do the following:
1 - select OIL LIFE RESET on the trip computer screen;
2 - press and hold the ENTER button;
3 - for 3 seconds. and the message ACKNOWLEDGED will be displayed; then we turn the key in the lock (off) and if the message CHANGE ENGINE OIL lights up and does not go out after starting the engine, then the oil change interval has not been reset and must be repeated again.
