Check p0421 or malfunction of the catalyst in a Mitsubishi Lancer 9 car

Hello everyone, I struggled with the check for a long time, error p0421 climbed out constantly - problems with the catalyst. I sinned a lot, for gasoline, for candles, for a lambdasond. did not want to think that the catalyst is tired and needs replacement. In general, I tried a lot of things and already had plans to cut off both cat and install flashlights, and then there was another option for how to remove this check from the tidy - an electronic snag of a lambda probe.
We need:
- A 430 kilo ohm resistor;
- Soldering iron;
- Phillips screwdriver;
- Heat shrink;
-Insulating tape;
-And 20 minutes of time.

Here we have this resistor to create resistance, or rather, to reduce the signal level of this error. Then we slowly disassemble the torpedo, it’s very easy to disassemble: first, we snap off the clips on the floor, then unscrew 2 screws in the armrest and take out the buttons for the warmers (if any) and take out the first part of the torpedo. Then, after removing this part, we see 2 screws securing the second part of the torpedo, unscrew them and take out the ashtray - the 3rd screw is hidden there, then we unscrew the handle and the whole torpedo is removed.
The second part can not be removed to the end, because. the sensor is hidden on the passenger side at the feet and it can be pulled back by 10-15 centimeters and the sensor is available.
Here our handsome man is hiding, disconnect the chip and look for a pale yellowish wire, bite off and clean it and solder our resistor to this place, then we make good insulation and close everything and install the torpedo in reverse order.

Well, it remains for us to erase the error from the tidy, for this I purchased an adapter and installed the program on the tablet. We connect to the adapter via Wi-Fi and clean the error p0421. Well, just in case, we check again for errors. They are not there and the check is also extinguished, I hope forever.

If everything is fine, then one of the sensors is either a kata sensor or a lambda sensor, i.e. in this way, we bypassed the glitch of one of the sensors that supplied incorrect data to the BC. The check is no longer on and the method is really working.
