Checking and adjusting headlights Nissan Primera
1. Pre-check and, if necessary, adjust the air pressure in the tires.
2. Park the car perpendicular to a smooth wall (eg in a garage) at a distance of 25 m. Make sure there is no additional load in the car. The car is completely filled with fuel (fuel, oil, coolant). Place an additional weight of (70 ± 20) kg on the driver's seat. Mark the screen on the wall as shown in the picture. The longitudinal plane of symmetry of the vehicle should follow line 0 on the screen. Rock the car from the side to allow the suspension springs to self-align.
3. Measure the height of the center of the headlights from the floor on your car. This will be the distance h on the screen. Measure the distance between the centers of the headlights on your car. This will be the distance Wl.

4. Turn on the low beam, make sure that the electric corrector is set to the "O" position.
5. It is recommended to adjust the direction of the light spot for each headlight separately. Cover the second headlamp with an opaque material during adjustment.
6. Open the hood and, by turning the adjusting screws, adjust the position of the light spot on the screen for each headlight horizontally and vertically if the location of the light spots does not match the picture.

9. The headlights are considered adjusted - when the upper boundaries of the left parts of the light spots coincide with line 4, and the vertical lines 1 and 2 pass through the points E1 and E2 of intersection of the horizontal and inclined sections of the light spots. If the car is equipped with fog lights, then the direction of their light beam must be adjusted only in height. Turn the adjusting screw until the upper boundaries of the light spots are below line 4.
10. Remove the bottom shield and adjust the position of the light spot on the screen for each headlamp vertically.
