Tools:

- Open end wrench - 24 mm
Parts and consumables:
- Syringe
- Capacity for drained oil with a volume of at least 3 liters.
- Filler plug washer
- Drain plug washer
- Oil
Note:
The oil level in the gearbox should be checked every 10 thousand kilometers or 1 year of operation.
The manufacturer does not provide for an oil change in the gearbox during the entire service life of the vehicle. However, sometimes the need to change the oil may arise (for example, when switching to an oil of a different viscosity, when repairing a gearbox, etc.).
Checking the level and changing the oil in the gearbox Chery Tiggo
1. The control hole plug is located on the gearbox housing in front of the vehicle, it is also the control hole.

2. Remove the transmission oil level plug to check the oil level.

3. The oil level should be at or below the edge of the hole.

4. If the oil level is too low, remove the filler plug.

5. Add oil with a syringe up to the edge of the inspection hole.

6. Tighten the filler and inspection plugs.
Note:
The plug is sealed with an aluminum washer. If the washer is strongly compressed, be sure to replace it.

7. To change the oil in the gearbox, unscrew the drain plug, first substituting a container for the drained oil, and drain the oil.

Note:
The drain plug is located on the transmission housing next to the left inner drive joint (left).

8. Screw in the plug.
Note:
The plug is sealed with an aluminum washer. If the washer is strongly compressed, be sure to replace it.

9. Fill the transmission with clean oil.
The work to be carried out in this case is similar to the operations described above for checking the level and adding oil.
