Cleaning the gas recirculation valve (EGR valve) on Nissan Qashqai

So it's time to inspect the gas recirculation valve, among the people of the USR. And the reason was the smoke of my car lately. Experts advised to check this same valve.
There were no problems with the removal, I unscrewed the three 8 'bolts and the valve came out easily. Although some, according to reviews on the Internet, had problems with taking it out. The valve was in a terrible state, it seemed to me, soot covered the entire niche of the valve with a good thick layer. For previously stocked up with a carburetor cleaner, half an hour of thorough washing and cleaning with rags and the valve is like new. The move became free, although when removed, it seemed to me that it did not move at all.
I do not know if the power has increased, but the smoke has become less. I didn’t notice the power, although they say when the valve is dirty, it drops and smoke increases.
Most importantly, the very feeling that the valve has lost all this dirt is already pleasing.

With the help of a carburetor cleaner, I slowly removed carbon deposits.

The valve has been completely cleaned.
