Note:
Cleaning and replacement of the air filter for Hyundai is carried out in accordance with the maintenance plan, namely every 15 thousand km. mileage or once a year. Air filters clog earlier in areas with high levels of pollution and dust. When driving in difficult conditions, the element is replaced 1.5-2 times more often.
A clean air filter ensures better performance and fuel economy for your vehicle.
Helpful advice:
After driving on a dusty road, if this is a rare case, it is recommended to remove the air filter and clean it from the outside, for example with a vacuum cleaner. Also wipe it with a damp cloth from the inside of its body from dust and dirt. Then blow out the air filter with compressed air from a compressor or foot pump. This cleaning reduces the resistance to airflow.
