Description of the design of the rear suspension Skoda Octavia

The rear suspension of Skoda Octavia cars is independent, multi-link spring (three transverse 5, 10, 12 and one longitudinal 7 on each side), with shock absorbers 11 and anti-roll bar 2. eccentrics.

Suspension springs of variable stiffness. The upper and lower ends of the springs rest on elastic rubber pads.

The stabilizer bar is attached to the trailing arm through a ball pin and to the stabilizer bar through a rubber-metal hinge.
