Opening the hood of Skoda Fabia II 2007 - 2014

This article describes how to open the hood of a Skoda Fabia.

The hood release lever is located in the passenger compartment under the instrument panel on the driver's side.

1.  Pull the handle and open the driver's door.

2.  Under the instrument panel, pull the hood release handle towards you.

3.  Go to the hood and put your hand a little to the left of the middle, press up on the safety hook lever and raise the hood.

4.  Holding the hood with one hand, remove the stop from the hood holder on the left side in the direction of the car.

5.  Fix a cowl, having inserted an emphasis into a special socket from the left wing.

6.  To close the hood, remove the stop from the socket by slightly lifting the hood and fix the stop in the clips. Gently lower the hood (approximately 20 cm from the top edge of the radiator frame), release the hood and the lock safety hook will click into place.​
