1. Disconnect the wire from the " negative " battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness block from the sensor and measure the resistance between terminals " 1 " and " 2 " of the sensor block. For a good sensor, it should be about 2 kOhm. Connect the autotester to pins " 2 " and " 3 " . When the throttle is open, the resistance should be 700-1380 ohms, when closed - 2.6 kOhm. 3. To replace a faulty throttle position sensor 2, remove the two screws securing it.
