If you have to add brake fluid to the Honda Civic reservoir quite often, find and fix the problem in the brake system.

When changing the brake fluid in the hydraulic clutch, remember or write down the brand of fluid that will be filled in so that when topping up, use the same brand of fluid.

Contact with brake fluid on wires, plastic or painted parts of the body can cause damage. Therefore, if liquid comes into contact with these parts, immediately wipe them with a clean cloth.

The procedure for checking and topping up the clutch fluid Honda Civic

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and open the hood. The clutch reservoir is installed on the left side of the engine compartment.

2. Check the brake fluid level in the Honda Civic clutch reservoir. It should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the tank body.

3. If the brake fluid level is below the “MIN” mark, turn counterclockwise and unscrew the plug.

4. Add brake fluid to the Honda Civic clutch reservoir up to the “MAX” mark.

5. Close the reservoir cap tightly. Wipe up spilled liquid with a rag.
