The Nissan X-Trail has two exterior and one interior rear-view mirror. They can be adjusted in the horizontal and vertical plane. 

Nissan X-Trail Interior Mirror Adjustment

The internal mirror has 2 fixed positions: "day" and "night". Adjust the mirror in such a way that the lower edge of the rear window is visible in its lower part.

To prevent glare from the headlights of the vehicle coming behind, you need to move the mirror to the “night” position: move the lever on the mirror towards you.

Warning:

In the "night" position, the field of view in the mirror decreases.

Adjusting the outside side rear view mirror Nissan X-Trail

The position of the outside side mirrors is controlled by the power mirror control unit. It is located on the driver's door armrest.

To adjust the Nissan X-Trail mirrors, turn switch 1 to the position corresponding to the right (R) or left (L) mirror. Then use the switch to adjust the mirror in the horizontal and vertical directions.

If the side mirrors of the Nissan X-Trail are adjusted correctly, the edge of the side of the car should be visible in them.

The rear mirror arm has a swivel design and can be folded down if needed.

Depending on the configuration, Nissan can be equipped with an electric drive for folding mirrors. In this case, to fold the side mirrors of the Nissan X-Trail, press the switch located on the power mirror control unit.

The exterior mirrors also have a heating function. It accelerates defrosting and sweating. The heated mirrors work when the ignition is switched on together with the heated rear window.

A damaged mirror element can be replaced separately.
