Skoda Octavia front seat adjustment

To ensure the most comfortable fit for people of different heights and builds, the position of the driver's and front passenger's seats can be changed both in the longitudinal direction and in the angle of the back, it is also possible to adjust the driver's seat in height and adjust the lumbar support. In addition, the height of the headrests can be adjusted.

Warning:

Adjust the position of the Skoda driver's seat only when the vehicle is stationary. If you try to adjust while driving and the seat does not lock properly in the fore and aft direction and the seat suddenly moves, you may lose control of the vehicle.

To adjust the position of the front seats of the Skoda Octavia A5 in the longitudinal direction, pull up the locking lever handle and move the seat on the slide to a comfortable position. After installing the seat, release the handle and slightly move the seat back and forth until it is securely locked.

To adjust the seat height, pull the control lever up a few times and release. Repeat this process until you reach the desired seat position. To lower the seat, pull the control lever down several times.

The inclination of the backrest is adjusted steplessly by turning the handle at the base of the backrest.

The position of the lumbar support is adjusted steplessly by turning the handle at the base of the backrest.

The front seat head restraints can be adjusted in height: press the lock and move the head restraint up or down to the desired height. The optimal position of the head restraint is when its upper edge is flush with the top of the head.

Adjust the inclination of the head restraints by moving the upper part forward or backward.

Note:

For very tall people, raise the head restraint to its highest position, for very short people, lower the head restraint to its lowest position.

Note :

The front seats can be heated (optional).

The heating of the front seats is switched on by the corresponding regulators: for the left - A, for the right - B. The principle of adjusting the heating intensity is the same as that of adjusting the headlight corrector.
