Note:
Before removing the side mirror on the Nissan X-Trail, you first need to remove the front door trim .
Removing the front door trim Nissan X-Trail
1. Place the car on a level surface, and turn off the ignition.
2. Raise the hood cover and fix it with an emphasis.
3. Use a 10 mm socket or wrench to disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal.
4. Open the front door.
5. Gently pry off the power window and mirror control unit with a screwdriver or spatula (wrap a rag around a flat screwdriver).
6. Remove from the 7 latches and pull the block out of the door trim.
7. Wring out clamps and disconnect from the block 3 pads.
8. Using a flat screwdriver, carefully pry the door trim trim over the special groove.
9. Remove from 9 holders and remove the pad.
10. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the 2 screws securing the trim.
11. Remove the plug.
12. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the trim fastening screw on the inner door handle.
13. Pull the casing by the bottom edge towards you and remove it from the 9 holders (if necessary, pry the casing with a flat screwdriver, placing a rag under it).
14. Move the trim aside.
15. If a lighting cover is installed on the front door trim, disconnect the block from the cover.
16. From the inside of the casing, remove the sheath of the lock key cable from the housing and disconnect its tip.
17. Also disconnect the second drive cable.
18. Remove a covering of a forward door.
Removing the side rearview mirror Nissan X-Trail
1. Pull towards you and remove the inner trim.
2. Press the latch and disconnect the block of wires from the outside mirror Nissan X-Trail.
3. Holding the mirror from the outside by hand, unscrew the 3 nuts securing it to the door panel with a 10 mm head.
4. Remove the Nissan X-Trail side mirror from the door. If necessary, replace it with a new one.
5. Install the mirror in the reverse order of removal.
6. Reinstall the front door trim.
