Removing the crankshaft position sensor Renault Duster

Note:

We remove the crankshaft position sensor for inspection or replacement, as well as when dismantling the gearbox.

We perform work on a viewing ditch or overpass.

Removing the crankshaft position sensor Renault Duster. Engine 2.0

1. Remove the protection of the power unit.

Note:

Location of the sensor on the power unit:

1 – a casing of the fan of system of cooling by the engine;

2 – a bar of the stabilizer of cross stability;

3 - crankshaft position sensor;

4 - gearbox housing.

2. Press the latch of the engine control harness block.

3. Disconnect the connector from the Renault Duster crankshaft position sensor connector.

4. Using the “10” head, unscrew the sensor mounting bolt.

5. Pull the sensor out of the hole in the gearbox housing.

6. Install the Renault Duster crankshaft position sensor in reverse order.

1. In the engine compartment, remove the air intake and air path resonator. 

2. Under the hose for supplying coolant to the heater radiator, press the lock of the engine control system wire block.

3. Disconnect the block from the Renault Duster crankshaft sensor connector.

4. Using the “10” head, unscrew the sensor mounting bolt.

5. We take out the Renault Duster crankshaft sensor from the hole in the gearbox housing.

6. Install the crankshaft position sensor in reverse order.
