1. Relieve pressure in the power system, disconnect the wire terminal from the "negative" terminal of the battery and remove the fuel tank.Removing the fuel tank in a Ford Focus 2

Note:

It is necessary to remove the fuel tank to replace the fuel pump because the Ford Focus 2 does not have a hatch in the base of the body above the fuel module, so access to it is impossible when the tank is installed on the car.

2. Unscrew the fuel tank cap using a bracket that you can make yourself. To do this, we bend a metal bar, while the inner size of the bracket should be 154 mm.We unscrew the fuel tank cap of the car Ford Focus 2

3. When installing, the fuel module can be oriented by the arrow on its body and the marks on the tank.

Wash the mesh filter in gasoline before installation.

After installing the fuel tank, it is necessary to check the tightness of the fuel module connections. To do this, connect the wire terminal to the "negative" terminal of the battery and turn on the ignition.
