The intake air temperature sensor for Renault Duster (Renault Duster) and Dacia Duster (Dacia Duster) is installed on the receiver in a special hole. If this sensor fails, it should be replaced with a new one as soon as possible, we will tell you about this process now.

Due to the fact that the receiver is located under the hood of the car, open the hood and determine the location of the sensor, it is located on the receiver. Then, press the wire lock at the plug of the engine management system cable and disconnect the plug connection by removing the plug from the socket on the sensor.

To remove the intake air temperature sensor from the hole in the receiver, you need to use a thin flat screwdriver to pry off the sensor flange and pull the sensor out of the seat, overcoming the resistance of its latches.

Inspect the rubber seal on the sensor (ring) for mechanical damage in the form of cracks, tears and bruises, as well as determine the elasticity of the material of the sealing ring, which must correspond to high-quality rubber. If damage is found or the ring has become stiff, replace it with a new one. And then install the old sensor (if it is operational) or the new one in place in the reverse order from its removal.
