Removal and installation of speakers of the Skoda Octavia audio system

You will need: the tools needed to remove the door upholstery, as well as an electric drill.
THE NOTE
Operation is shown on an example of the loudspeakers established in the left forward door of Skoda Octavia. The speakers in the right door are replaced in the same way.
Follow the steps below to remove the tweeter.
1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

2. Pry off the tweeter grille with a screwdriver... .

3. ...and take him aside.

4. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the outside rear-view mirror control panel.

5. Turn out the screw of fastening of an upholstery of a door under a lattice of high-frequency loudspeaker.

6. Disconnect the tweeter harness connector and remove the speaker
7. Install the tweeter trim in the reverse order of removal.
Follow the steps below to remove the full range speaker.
1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

2. Remove an upholstery of a forward door.

3. Disconnect the wiring harness block from the speaker.

4. Drill out six rivets securing the speaker.
5. Remove the speaker from the door mounting panel opening.
6. Install the speaker using self-tapping screws of the correct size and all parts in the reverse order of removal.
