Removal and installation of a cover of an impellent compartment from the bottom side of Mercedes-Benz W203

Tool:

• Support legs
• Jack
• Tubular socket wrench

Gasoline engines

Withdrawal

1. Raise and place the vehicle on stands.

2. Turn out bolts of fastening and remove a forward cover of the bottom.

3. Turn out bolts of fastening and remove a back cover of the bottom.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Diesel engines 

Withdrawal

1. Raise and place the vehicle on stands.

2. Turn away 6 bolts of fastening and remove a forward cover down.

1 - front cover;

2 - back cover.

3. Turn away 6 bolts of fastening and remove a back cover down.

Installation

1. Install the rear cover first and then the front cover, securing them with bolts.

2. Lower the car onto its wheels.
