1. Place the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the ignition.

2. In the passenger compartment, under the driver's seat, pull up the fuel tank flap opening handle.

3. Squeeze the tabs and remove the cover from the tether.

4. Using a 10 mm socket head, unscrew the 2 bolts securing the hatch cover to the body.
