Removal and installation of mounting blocks Nissan Qashqai 2007 - 2013

Tools:

• Straight box wrench 10 mm
• Small flat screwdriver

Parts and consumables:

• Battery positive terminal block
• Rear mounting block

Note:

Due to the large number of wires connected to the mounting blocks and the need for a special map of their location, remove and install the front and cabin mounting blocks at a specialized service station. This subsection only describes the removal and installation of the rear fuse box and the fuse box attached to the positive terminal of the battery.

To remove the fuse box attached to the positive terminal of the battery, do the following:

1. Open the hood and place it on the stop.

2. Peel back the terminal cover, loosen the lug pinch nut.

3. Disconnect a wire from the plug "plus" of the storage battery.

4. Remove the protective cover by pulling it up.

5. Press down on the wire harness connector.

6. Disconnect the block from the connector of the mounting block.

7. Similarly, disconnect the second block of the wiring harness from the connector of the mounting block.

8. Turn away a nut of fastening of a tip of a power wire to the mounting block.

9. Remove the terminal clamp.

10. Take the power wire away from the mounting block.

11. Turn away a nut of fastening of the second power wire and remove the mounting block.

Note:

The fuses of the mounting block attached to the plus terminal of the battery are rated for a current of 140, 80, 100, 100, 100 A, respectively.

The fuse rating is marked on the transparent cover of the mounting block. If any fuse fails, replace the mounting block.

12. Install the mounting block in the reverse order of removal.

To remove the rear mounting block in the engine compartment, do the following:

1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

2. Remove the air intake as described here .

3. Depress the latch on the rear mounting block.

4. Lift the mounting block out of the housing.

5. Expand the block for convenient work with it.

6. Press down on the wire harness tab.

7. Disconnect the block from the mounting block.

8. Similarly, disconnect the second block of wires in front of the mounting block.

9. Disconnect the block of wires on the left side.

10. Disconnect the wiring harness at the back of the mounting block.

11. Squeeze out a clamp of a block of a plait of wires by a screw-driver.

12. Disconnect the block from the connector of the mounting block.

13. Pressing the latch, disconnect the block of power wires from the mounting block and remove the block.

14. Install the fuse block in the reverse order of removal.
