Removal and installation of the lower grille.

Finally it happened. Finally, you don’t have to do this every spring: sculpt a chrome tape on the radiator grille.
This is what the chrome tape looks like after one year of use:

The chrome tape peeled off, and so almost every year had to be re-pasted.

But from this photo you can understand how important it is to put the grid in the grate - for three years the radiator is as good as new:

Thanks to the mesh in the grille (removed), the radiator is intact and does not harm.

At the end of January, a radiator grille with chrome was bought, it got warmer and therefore I decided to install it just now, how long I had been waiting for this moment ... I bought a grille with chrome not the original SAT article ST-VWP6-000G-0 for only 1186 rubles, the original grille is somewhere in the range of 3,500 rubles - which is very expensive.

The quality of the plastic and chrome grille trim suits me quite well. Before installation, of course, I prepared the grate, just as I did before, that is, I installed the mesh in the grate and secured it with ties (300 rubles).
Replacing the grille is not a tricky business, first we remove the side trims of the PTF, then the grille itself - it sits firmly, but with the help of plastic removal tools - everything is removed, we put a new one and put everything back together.

I removed the chrome lining from the old grille and washed it, now I am selling it because it is no longer needed. If anyone needs it, please get in touch. Grille from Comfortline 6RU853677 is sold with a black protective mesh installed.
