Removal and installation of a forward wing of a body of Audi A4

Parts and consumables:

• Wing bolts and washers

Front wing body:

•    1 - wing;
•    2 — bolt*, 7Nm;
•    3 — bolt*, 10Nm;
•    4 — bolt*, 10Nm;
•    5 — bolt*, 10Nm;
•    6 — bolt*, 10Nm;
•    7 - bracket;
•    8 - bolt *, 10Nm. 

*) Replace after each unscrewing.

1 . To remove the front fender, disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.

2 . Remove the bumper, refer to Front Bumper Removal and Installation .

3 . Remove the fender locker, refer to Removing and Installing the Front Fender Locker .

4 . Remove the bolt ( 1 ) from the nut ( 3 ) and remove the lock ( 2 ) from the fender (4).

5 . Remove the headlight mounting screws.

6 . Disconnect the side turn signal connector.

7 . Remove bolts ( 2 ) to ( 6 ) and ( 8 ) and remove the wing ( 1 ), refer to the illustration at the beginning of the section.

8 . Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. In this case, the wing bolts and washers must be replaced with new ones.

9 . Connect the negative (-) battery cable.
