The following is just a description of the withdrawal. Installation is in the reverse order.

Tools:

  • Ratchet key for 14;
  • Cross screwdriver.

How to remove the front seat belts Toyota Camry
1. Bend the door seals, as shown in the photo.
2. Unscrew the bolt of the lower seat belt attachment point (key 14) 
3. Pulling the edges towards you, snap out the plastic trim of the middle pillar from the hooks: 
4. Disconnect the plug connector, seat belt pretensioner. Remove the two bolts securing the seat belt reel. 
5. Unscrew the fasteners of the upper plastic lining of the middle rack:

6. Pass through the plastic lining, the metal latch of the seat belt

7. Unscrew the bolt of fastening of the upper point of fastening of the seat belt, unscrew the two bolts of fastening of the bracket for adjusting the position of the upper point of fastening of the seat belt. This completes the removal of the front seat belts. 

How to remove the rear seat belts Toyota Camry
Before removing the rear seat belts, you must remove the rear seats and shelf. Having done all these operations, you can proceed to the removal of the rear seat belts.
1. Unscrew the bolts of the lower attachment points of the rear seat belts.

2. Unscrew the mounting bolts of the counterpart of the rear seat belts.

3. Unscrew the fastening bolts from above at the middle seat belts.

On models with emergency seat belt tensioners, observe the following precautions:
1. Before removing the tensioner, turn off the ignition, then disconnect the negative and then the positive wire from the battery;
2. It is not allowed to repair and disassemble the tensioner;
3. Tensioners that have been impacted, dropped to the floor or have damage (dents, cracks) must be replaced without fail;
4. Do not use an impact tool to remove the tensioner block;
5. It is not allowed to use lubricants, cleaners or any similar means and expose the tensioner to temperatures above +100 degrees;

  • After the pretensioner has been deployed, the seat belt must be replaced complete with the pretensioner.
