Removal and installation of the gear selector lever of automatic transmission Mercedes-Benz W203

Removing and installing gear selector lever (with mode switch W/S):

39 - gasket;

40 - bolts (4 pieces);

97 - intermediate lever;

S16/10 - gear identification switch;

S16 / 10s2 - reversing light switch;

Y66 / 1 - electromagnetic drive for blocking the positions "R / P"

AT control drive:

1 — a cable of the central block of a gear change;

2 — the handle of the gear lever;

3 - gear indicator control unit;

4 — the central block of a gear change;

5 — a tip of draft of switching;

6 - gearshift rod;

7 — a finger for connection of draft.

Withdrawal

1. Remove the shift lever from the intermediate lever.

2. Remove the center console.

3. Turn away bolts.

4. Disconnect the connectors and the R/P position lock solenoid from the identification switch, reversing light switch.

5. Remove the gear selector lever assembly from the floor.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Check gasket (39) for proper fit and condition, replace if necessary.
