To start an internal combustion engine, an electric motor, called a starter, is needed. In order for the car engine to work, it must be revved up to a speed of at least 300 rpm. This can be achieved if the starter works reliably and the battery is charged.

Since a large amount of electricity is required to start the engine, when carrying out maintenance, it is necessary to pay attention to the reliable connection of the cables. Rusted contacts should be cleaned and lubricated with grease.
