The vacuum electric pump is mounted on the front of the power unit, in the lower part of the engine compartment.
The vacuum pump is a complex, high-tech unit. Elements of the pump part are made using selective assembly, so the companies that produce components do not supply retail parts for the repair of a vacuum electric pump. If necessary, the electric pump is replaced as an assembly.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the Skoda Octavia battery.

2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the electric pump connector.

3. Pull up and remove the pump holder legs from the rubber bushings on the bracket.

4. Wring out a clamp and disconnect a block of a plait of wires from the pump.

5. Remove the electric pump.
6. Turn out bolts of fastening and disconnect the pump from the holder.
7. Install the electric pump in the reverse order of removal.
