You will need: keys "for 7", "for 10", TORXT25.
Note:
The air filter is removed, as a rule, to gain access to other units in the engine compartment and in case of damage.
Removal and installation of the air filter and air duct Opel Astra H
1. Loosen the clamp securing the air inlet sleeve to the air filter.
2. Disconnect the sleeve from the filter nozzle.
Note:
Please note: there are rectangular marks on the air filter nozzle and on the edge of the air supply sleeve for correct installation of the sleeve.
3. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a back part of the air filter.
4. Remove the air filter by removing the branch pipe located on the wall of the filter housing from the air supply sleeve, and the rubberized support on its bottom from the spring holder mounted on the frame of the engine compartment.
Note:
This is how the support is located on the bottom of the filter housing.
And so — the holder on the frame of the engine compartment.
5. If necessary, remove the rubber bushing from the lower filter support.
6. Remove the bracket for its rear attachment.
7. Remove the two rubber bushings from the bracket holes.
Note:
Replace the rubber bushings on the lower and rear filter mounts if they are hardened, severely deformed, or torn.
8. Remove the air supply sleeve from the air duct.
Removing the air duct Opel Astra H
1. Remove facing of a radiator.
2. Turn out a bolt of fastening of an air duct to a radiator frame.
3. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a mouth of a washer reservoir to a radiator frame.
4. Slightly move the neck forward.
5. Turn out six bolts of fastening of the top cross-beam of a framework of a radiator.
6. Move to the left and up, disconnect the cross member from the air duct.
7. Remove the air duct Opel Astra H.
8. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
