Removing the outer handle of the rear door Skoda Octavia

Tool:

• Key with Torx tip (asterisk) Т25
• Screwdriver flat medium

1. Remove the plug of the lock switch housing retainer screw.

2.  Pull the door handle and, while holding it, unscrew the locking screw of the lock switch housing by a few turns. To do this, you need a Torx T25 key.

Warning:

Do not unscrew the latch screw completely, otherwise the latch may be released from the fastening clamp and fall into the door cavity.

3. Pry with a screwdriver and remove the tip of the cable from the rear door handle.

4. Pull the handle back and remove it from the door.

Note:

The process of replacing the Skoda rear door lock is similar to the process of replacing the front door lock.

5. Install all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
