Note:
The dashboard of the Creta displays basic information about the operating modes and the state of the car.
The instrument panel cannot be repaired and, in the event of a malfunction of any element, is replaced with a new one.
Removing the dashboard Hyundai Creta
1. Place the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the ignition.
2. In the engine compartment, using a 10 mm wrench , disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
3. In the passenger compartment of the car, use a plastic spatula or other suitable tool to pry and snap off the latches of the upper part of the steering column.
4. Also unfasten the Hyundai instrument panel visor clips around the perimeter.
5. Remove a peak together with the top part of a casing of a steering column.
6. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the 4 fastening screws.
7. Pull the tidy towards you and disconnect the wiring harness.
8. Remove the Hyundai Creta instrument panel.
9. If necessary, replace the tidy with a working one.
10. Install the instrument panel on Crete and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
11. Connect the negative terminal and check the operation of the instrument panel.
