Notes:
Carry out the work when replacing the front bumper, radiator lining, when removing the headlights and the hood lock. Perform operations with an assistant on a viewing ditch or overpass.
Removing the front bumper and radiator grille Lada Granta
1. Remove the state license plate with a Phillips screwdriver. If there is a backing, remove it too.
2. Unscrew the screws securing the left and right wheel arch liners to the front bumper, as described in this article .
3. With a 10 mm head, unscrew 4 bolts securing the front bumper of the Lada Grant to the upper cross member of the radiator frame in its middle part. Using the same tool, unscrew the extreme bolts securing the bumper to the upper cross member of the radiator frame (these bolts simultaneously fasten the headlight brackets).
4. Using a 10 mm socket with an extension, remove the 2 bolts securing the front bumper to the front bracket.
5. From the bottom of the car with a 10 mm head, unscrew 2 bumper mounting bolts in the middle part and one bolt on the right side.
6. Remove the right side of the bumper from the slot formed by the front wing and the clamping pad welded to it.
7. Perform a similar operation on the other side of the car.
8. Remove the front bumper assembly with the radiator grille Lada Granta.
9. To remove the radiator lining, unscrew 9 nuts securing the radiator lining to the bumper with an 8 mm head (marked in red), and also use a screwdriver to open the bumper petals and remove the fixing tabs of the radiator lining from them (the latches are marked in blue).
10. Remove facing of a radiator.
Note:
Fastening of facing of a radiator is carried out by mortgage bolts (with a square head).
11. Install the front bumper and radiator grille on the Lada Granta in reverse order, ensuring uniform gaps between the bumper and body parts.
