  • Possible signs of injector failure:
  • – difficult start of the engine;
  • – unstable operation of the engine;
  • – stop of the engine idling;
  • – the raised frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft idling;
  • - the engine does not develop full power, insufficient engine acceleration;
  • – Jerks and dips in the engine when the car is moving;
  • – increased fuel consumption.
  • 1. Remove the fuel rail (see "Removing and installing the fuel rail").
  • 2. Pry off the injector lock plate with a screwdriver ...
  • 3. ... and remove the plate.
  • 4. Remove the nozzle from the fuel rail.
  • 5. In the same way, remove the remaining nozzles.
  • 6. Check the resistance of the injector winding. The resistance of a working injector should be 0.013-0.016 kOhm. If the winding resistance is not correct, replace the injector, as it is beyond repair.
  • 7. Replace the injector O-rings (regardless of their condition) on the exhaust manifold and rail side. After installing new o-rings, lubricate them with engine oil.
  • 8. Install the nozzles in the reverse order of removal.
  • 9. Having installed the nozzles in the fuel rail, and the rail on the intake pipe and connecting the pipelines to the rail, start the engine and check the tightness of the connection of the pipeline and nozzle seals.
