Notes:

Below are the normative technical parameters of parts and mechanisms of the fuel system of the 2AD-FHV engine for comparison with the results obtained during diagnostics and the decision to repair or replace the part.

D The pressure in the fuel system.

37–43 MPa (377–438 kgf/cm2 , 5366–6236 psi).

The set pressure of the common rail fuel system.

20-180 MPa (204-1835 kgf / cm 2 , 2901-26106 psi).

Complete nozzle.

Resistance (1 - 2) - 0.9 to 1.1 MΩ at 20°C (68°F).

Delivery pump assembly (suction control valve).

Resistance (1 - 2) - 1.9-2.3 ohms at 20°C (68°F).

Injection pump assembly (fuel system pressure sensor).

Resistance (1 - 2) - 2.32-2.59 ohms at 20°C (68°F); 0.310-0.326 ohms at 20°C (176°F).

Fuel system Common Rail (pressure sensor in the fuel system).

1) Resistance (5 (PR) - 4 (E2) - 16.4 ohms or less.

2) Resistance 2 (PR2) - 3 (E2S) - 16.4 ohms or less.

3) Resistance 6 (VC) - 5 (PR) - 3 kΩ or less.

4) Resistance 1 (VCS) - 2 (PR2) - 3 kΩ or less.

Common rail fuel system (pressure relief valve).

Resistance (1 - 2) - 0.85 to 1.05 ohms at 20°C (68°F).

Emergency level sensor.

1) Resistance (1 - 2) (float in the highest position) - Less than 1 ohm.

2) Resistance (1 - 2) (float in the lowest position) - 10 kOhm or more.
