The car has a stock audio system. It consists of an antenna, 3 pairs of speakers and a radio.

The head unit on the Nissan X-Trail works in the modes of receiving AM / FM radio stations and playing CDs. Depending on the configuration of the transport, the radio can have a player for 1 or 6 discs, as well as play music files in MP-3 format.

To connect a mobile phone, the radio has a BLUETOOTH function . 

The audio system is activated when the ignition key is in the ACC or ON positions . 

Nissan X-Trail audio control:

1 - on / off;

2 (MENU)  - menu switching;

3 (BACK) - exit; transaction confirmation;

4 (ENTER) - input / input; mode selection.

Adjusting the sound of the Nissan X-Trail audio system:

1 - mute the sound (depending on the configuration);

2  (MENU / VOL)  - volume control / adjustment of sound settings (after selecting the mode with button 3);

3 - select the sound adjustment mode, press successively: BASS (low frequencies) ⇒ TREBLE (high frequencies) ⇒ BALANCE (sound level left and right) ⇒  FADER (sound level front and rear) ⇒ EG (equalizer, standard settings).

Radio reception Nissan X-Trail:

1 (FM) ​—Activate the FM radio frequency band. 

Sequential pressing: FM1 ⇒ FM2 ⇒ FMT;

2 (AM) ​—Activate the AM radio frequency band.

 Sequential pressing: MW ⇒ LW;

3 (TUNE / SEARCH) - manual tuning of radio stations;

4 (1-6) ​- turn on the selected radio station. To save in memory, tune in the radio station, press and hold the button until a beep sounds;

5 (RPT/MIX) ​—repeat/random playback.

Press repeatedly: RPT TRACK (repeat play) ⇒ RPT DISC  (repeat disc) ⇒ MIX  DISC (random play on disc) ⇒  MIX ALL (random play of all discs) ⇒ RPT ALL  (sequential play of all records);

6 (SEEK TRACK) ​—automatically tunes in to a radio station. The beep will stop at a radio station with sufficient signal strength;

7 (TA/NEWS) ​- switching on the modes: traffic announcements (short press)/news (hold for more than 2 s).

Playing the Nissan X-Trail CD:

1 (LOAD) - loading a disc (with a 6-disc CD changer);

2 (CD) - turn on the CD player;

3 - eject the disk;

4 (TUNE / SEARCH) - fast track forward / backward;

5  - disc selection after pressing button 1 (LOAD) with a 6-disc CD changer;

6 (SEEK TRACK) ​—Goes  to the next/previous track.

Phone control on Nissan X-Trail:

1 — phone control;

2 - phone book;

3 (BACK) ​— end of communication.

Audio control on the steering wheel Nissan X-Trail:

1 (ENTER) ​- enter / enter.

Mode selection, short press: switch to preset radio stations or skip to the next/previous track. Long press: switch to preset radio stations or go to the next/previous disc (depending on equipment);

2 (BACK) ​- cancel selection/return;

3 - turn on the phone;

4 - adjust the sound volume;

5 (SOURCE) ​— Selects the operating mode (selects the frequency bands of the radio/disc player).

Four speakers are installed in the front and rear doors.

Two tweeters are installed on the instrument panel at the edges.
