Battery replacement for Nissan Primera 2001 - 2007

Tools:

• Open-end wrench 10 mm
• Open-end wrench 12 mm
• Collar for end nozzle
• Nozzle on the crank 13 mm
• Large flat screwdriver
• Tubular socket wrench 10 mm

1. Loosen the nut of the clamping bolt of the ground wire lug.

2. Disconnect a wire from the plug "minus" of the storage battery.

3. Remove the protective cover of the plus terminal.

4.  Loosen the clamping nut of the power cable lug and remove the wire from the positive terminal of the battery. 

5. Turn out a bolt of a plate of fastening of the storage battery.

6.  Remove the battery from the vehicle's engine compartment.

7. We put on a tubular wrench for 10 on the nut and unscrew it. We remove the platform from the battery.                                                               

8. We put the pad on the positive terminal of the new battery and repeat all the previous steps in reverse order.

Helpful Hints: The
negative terminal must be disconnected first and connected last, because this way there is less chance of closing the positive terminal with the car body.
