To replace it, do the following from the walkie-talkie.
1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.
2. Remove the corresponding front wheel.

3. Squeeze the clamp of the front wheel speed sensor wiring harness ...

4. ... and disconnect the block from the sensor.

5. Remove the bolt securing the sensor to the steering knuckle with a hex key.

6. ... and remove the sensor from the fist hole.
7. Install the Skoda Octavia front wheel speed sensor in the reverse order of removal. If, after installing the wheel speed sensor, the anti-lock brake system warning light does not go out, contact a service station for ABS diagnostics.
WARNINGS
When installing the sensor, align the hole in the sensor housing exactly with the threaded hole in the knuckle. During installation, do not rotate the sensor around the longitudinal axis. An increase in resistance to the movement of the sensor should be felt only the last 2 mm before it is fully seated in the fist. If the sensor with high resistance enters the fist hole from the very beginning of installation, remove the sensor and eliminate the cause of jamming (dirt, burr on the case, etc.) It is strictly forbidden to press the wheel speed sensor with a hammer.
The rear wheel speed sensor is installed in the hole in the hub cover. To replace it, perform the following operations:
1. Disconnect the wire from the "minus" terminal of the battery.
2. Raise the rear of the vehicle. securely support and remove the appropriate rear wheel.

3. Squeeze the clamp of the rear wheel speed sensor wiring harness block ...

4. ... disconnect the block from the sensor.

5. Unscrew the bolt securing the sensor to the hub cap with a “5” hex wrench ...

6. and remove the sensor from the hub hole.
7. Install the rear wheel speed sensor in the reverse order of removal If, after installing the wheel speed sensor, the anti-lock brake system malfunction warning light does not go out, contact a service station for ABS diagnostics.
WARNING
