Tools:
Screwdriver flat medium 1 pieces
Parts and consumables:
Cloth gloves 1 pieces
wooden lath 1 pieces

Note:
The tailgate is supported by two gas struts when open. The injected gas, as the sealing elements age, gradually exits. Therefore, the stops stop fixing the door in the open position. Stops are not subject to repair. They need to be replaced.

Replacing the gas stops of the tailgate Hyundai Creta

1. Place the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the ignition.

2. Open the trunk.

3. Fix the tailgate in the raised position by placing a wooden rail under it.

4. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry out the latch.
