Replacing the clutch master cylinder Ford Focus 2
1. Remove the cap from the master cylinder reservoir.
2. Pump out the brake fluid from the reservoir section of the master cylinder, for example, with a large medical syringe.
Note:
The reservoir, common to the master brake and clutch release cylinders, consists of three separate sections: two for separate hydraulic brake circuits and one for the hydraulic clutch release.
3. Remove the battery mounting shelf.
4. Squeeze the hose end retainers to the Ford clutch release master cylinder.
5. Disconnect a hose from a tank of the main brake cylinder.
6. Squeeze out a clamp of a tip of the pipeline of a hydrodrive of deenergizing of coupling by a screw-driver.
7. Disconnect the pipeline from the clutch master cylinder.
8. Remove the clutch pedal assembly with the bracket.
9. Remove the Ford Focus 2 clutch master cylinder from the hole in the front shield into the passenger compartment.
Note:
In addition to the described method, it is possible to remove the clutch pedal assembly with the clutch release master cylinder and then disconnect the cylinder from the pedal bracket.
10. Examine a cover and a sealant of the cylinder. Replace severely compressed, hardened, or torn parts.
11. If necessary, disconnect the hose from the cylinder by sliding the latch A of its tip.
12. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal and bleed the air from the hydraulic actuator.
