The procedure for replacing the lamp in the glove compartment Nissan X-Trail

1.  Go to the car interior.

2.  Pry up the side cover and pull it out of the latches.

3.  Pull the handle and open the glove compartment.

4.  Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the 2 fixing screws and remove the lock loop.

5.  Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the 6 screws that secure the glove compartment to the instrument panel.

6. Pull the glove box out of the instrument panel niche.

7.  Unscrew and disconnect the cartridge with the Nissan X-Trail glove compartment light from the box.

8. Pull the bulb out of the socket.

9. Replace the burned-out Nissan X-Trail glove compartment light bulb with a working one.

10. Install the light bulb in the cartridge, and screw the cartridge back into the glove box.

11. Install the glove box on the Nissan X-Trail in the reverse order of removal.
