Note:
According to the manufacturer's recommendation, the Hyundai Creta coolant should be replaced for the first time after 60 thousand kilometers or once every 2-3 years, but the interval may vary.
Also, antifreeze must be drained completely or partially when replacement of parts of the cooling system is necessary.
Carry out the work at an engine temperature not exceeding +40°C, or on a cold engine. Even if the engine is not running, do not remove the radiator cap or drain plug while the engine and radiator are hot. Hot coolant and steam can still be expelled under pressure, which can cause serious injury.

Coolant replacement for Hyundai Creta
1. Install the car on a viewing hole or overpass.
2. Raise the hood cover and fix it with the stop.
3. Slowly turn counterclockwise and remove the radiator filler cap.
Warning:
Never attempt to remove the cover while the engine is running or hot. This can result in damage to the cooling system and engine, and serious injury from hot coolant or steam escaping.
4. Get under the car. If available, remove the engine crankcase protection: with a 13 mm socket, unscrew 5 bolts of its fastening (3 in front and 2 in the rear).
5. Use a 10 mm box or socket wrench to remove the 6 engine mudguard mounting bolts. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry the tabs and pull out the 11 fastener holders.
6. Remove the mudguard.
7. Place an empty container with a capacity of at least 6 liters under the radiator drain plug.
8. Turn away a drain stopper (faucet) on some turns.
9. Wait until the antifreeze is completely drained on the Hyundai Crete.
Note:
The coolant is toxic and must not be poured down the drain or into the soil.
10. Replace the drain plug.
Note:
If the drained antifreeze is cloudy, brown, or has sediment in color, flush the system with clean water and refill with new fluid.
11. Go to the engine compartment. If the antifreeze on the Hyundai Creta is drained for a complete replacement, pump out its remnants from the expansion tank, for example, using a rubber bulb or syringe, and a hose of a suitable length.
12. Fill the engine cooling system. To do this, slowly pour fresh coolant into the radiator filler neck up to the level of the expansion tank hose fitting hole.
13. Screw the cap on tightly.
14. Open the reservoir lid.
15. Pour antifreeze into the expansion tank up to level F (maximum).
Note:
Do not fill the fluid reservoir above the F mark , as the volume will increase when the engine is running.
16. Close the reservoir lid tightly.
17. Start the engine and let it run.
18. Check if antifreeze is leaking from under the radiator drain plug.
19. Warm up the engine to operating temperature. The electric fan should turn on at least twice.
20. Stop the engine. After it cools down, check the coolant level in the Hyundai Creta expansion tank. If necessary, increase it to the maximum (F) .
What fluid to fill in the Hyundai Creta cooling system
The car uses ethylene glycol-based antifreeze for aluminum radiators. Original HYUNDAI coolant - Crown LLC A-110. Part number R9000AC001H.
Only use products from trusted manufacturers. Remember that the use of poor quality coolant leads to costly engine repairs!
