Replacing the front headlight unit Nissan Note 2004 - 2012

Note:

The principle of replacing headlights with a Nissan Note is the same on both sides.

In order to remove the front headlight, you will first need to remove the front bumper.

How to remove the front bumper on a Nissan Note

1.  Raise the hood and secure it with the stop.

2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

3.  Pry with a flat screwdriver and pull out the 4 clips and 2 latches (located on the inside) securing the grille to the Nissan Note.

4.  Unfasten 4 latches of the bottom fastening of a radiator grille.

5.  Wring out clamps of fastening of a lattice of a radiator to the right and left headlight.

6.  Pull towards you and remove the plastic grille of the Nissan Note radiator.

7.  Pry with a screwdriver and remove the clips of the lower bumper mount.

8.  With a 10 head, remove 3 screws of the Nissan Note lower bumper mounting on both sides of the car.

9.  In the wheel arches, prying with a screwdriver, pull out the caps securing the fender liner to the bumper.

10.  Bend the fender liner and turn the head 10 on both sides along the bolt securing the bumper to the front wing.

11.  Having pressed both sides of the bumper on the Nissan Note, disconnect its ends from the holders on the wings and take the bumper away from the body.

12.  Pry off with a screwdriver, remove the retainer and the tip of the headlight washer nozzle hose from the washer electric pump fitting.

13.  Remove the Nissan Note front bumper. 

Removing and replacing the front headlight Nissan Note

1.  Press the latch and disconnect the wiring harness block from the Nissan Note turn signal lamp socket.

2. Wring out a clamp and disconnect a block of a plait of wires from a cartridge of a lamp of dimensional fires. 

3.  Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the dipped/high beam headlights.

4. Use a screwdriver to press the fixing bracket of the wiring harness block and disconnect it from the electrocorrector.

5. Using a 10 mm head, unscrew the bolt of the top mounting of the Nissan Note headlight.

6. Turn out a bolt of the bottom fastening of a forward headlight to an arm of a body.

7.  Turn out a bolt of lateral fastening of a headlight to an arm of a wing.

8.  Pry off the retainer with a screwdriver and remove the Nissan Note headlight.

9. Replace Nissan Note headlight with a new one.

10.  Install the headlight and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal. Install the front bumper.
