Note:

The condition of the brake pads is recommended to be checked at every maintenance.

Brake pads on a Honda Civic must be replaced when the pads are worn, if the pads are not firmly connected to the base, if the working surfaces are oiled, if there are deep grooves or chips. The minimum allowable thickness of friction linings is 1.6 mm.

Replace front brake pads on both front wheels at the same time (set of 4).

The principle of replacing pads on the left and right sides is the same.

Reasons to replace brake pads on a Honda Civic

Brake pads are essential components for the safe operation of your vehicle. To avoid a potential accident, they must be properly maintained. If the pads wear out completely, you will not only damage the discs, which are expensive to replace, but you will also fail to stop the car in time and cause an accident.

1.  When replacing pads on the left side, turn the steering wheel to the left in advance, when replacing pads on the right side - to the right.
