Hyundai Matrix fuel filter replacement

Parts and consumables:

• Fuel filter
• Coarse filter (grid)
• Filter O-rings

The fuel filter is located in the tank, along with the fuel pump. It is easily pulled out of the cabin. There is also a coarse filter (mesh). It is also recommended to replace it together with the filter. 

1.  Remove the rear seat. Underneath is the fuel pump cover.

2. Pull out the fuel pump and filter element.

Note:

O-rings can be rearranged from the old filter to the new one, however, there may be unpleasant nuances such as a torn ring or its absence at all, so I recommend stocking up on a few rings.

3. Separate the fuel filter from the fuel pump.

4.  Take a new fuel filter and assemble everything in reverse order.
