Note:
The fuel level sensor for Chery Tiggo is installed on the fuel module.
Chery Tiggo fuel gauge check and replacement
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the storage battery.
2. Remove the fuel module.
3. Cut the wire harness clamp.

4. Disconnect the fuel level sensor wires from the fuel pump leads.

5. Press down on the two transducer latches.

6. Remove the sensor from the Chery Tiggo fuel pump module.

7. Connect the tester in ohmmeter mode to the sensor leads.

8. Measure and note the resistance value of the sensor in its original position.
9. Lift the lever with the float to the extreme position - the resistance should decrease to almost zero. If the resistance does not change or remains too large, then the Chery Tiggo sensor is faulty and needs to be replaced.
