When opening / closing the central lock, an incomprehensible sound began to appear from the side of the front passenger door, like an echo when closing / opening. Those. all the doors clicked, then this passenger one. When opening this door, the open door icon sometimes did not appear on the maxidot. I looked with a lace - error 00929 - Front passenger door central locking drive-F221.

Error

At first I thought - the micro switch in the lock broke, the VAG disease. Decided to take it apart. When parsing the door, I used the report. It turned out that the micro switch was quite working, the problem was poor soldering of the lock control board.

1. The lock is pulled out through the speaker hole, there is no need to remove the entire door card. (in the back door - you will have to remove it)
2. It is better to disassemble the lock itself at the table, or lay something on it. I first unscrewed all the torx screws (do not do this), and then only removed the electrical part, which safely scattered gears on the floor. To separate the electrical part, it is enough to unscrew the two screws, release the two latches and remove the spring. The pictures are marked with arrows. Do not unscrew the self-tapping screw in a circle! Otherwise, you will then suffer with the installation of two more springs! We won't need it.

Only after removing the electrical part, unscrew the screws holding the cover. Inspection of the board showed that three pins of the blue connector, including two with a micro switch, have an annular crack around the pin of the part. Therefore, the contact was sometimes bad, sometimes it was not at all. I soldered everything again, smeared it with some kind of sealant on top.

An example of poor soldering

Contacts in sealant

Lubricated all gears and moving parts. Assembly in reverse order. Rivets for the speaker used 4.8 * 10 6 pcs. After reassembly, I cleared the errors, now everything works as it should.
