Note:

1.  Install the car on a viewing hole or lift.

2.  With a 13 mm head, unscrew the bolts and remove the crankcase protection.

3. To check the oil level in the Nissan X-Trail manual transmission, a check hole is made on the side wall of the gearbox housing, which is closed with a plug.

Clean the control hole plug with a metal brush.

4. Use a 10 mm Allen wrench to remove the gearbox control hole plug.

5. Take a paper strip and roll it into a tube. Put it in the control hole and check the oil level of the Nissan X-Trail manual transmission. It should be at the bottom edge of the hole.

6. If the oil level is below the required level, take a special oil filler (as an option, you can use a medical one).

Add oil to the Nissan X-Trail manual transmission to the required level.

Warning:

Do not add oil through the breather hose!

Add oil to the Nissan X-Trail gearbox recommended by the manufacturer.

7. Clean the plug.

8. Replace the plug seal with a new one.

9. Screw the check hole plug in the Nissan X-Trail manual transmission into place. Tightening torque -  35 N•m.  Wipe up spilled oil with a rag.
