The procedure for checking external lighting devices on a Nissan Note

1. Check the operation of the lamps in the headlights. Replace defective lamps.

 The following types of lamps are used on a car:

• A  - front turn signal lamp, lamp type PY21W (21 W);
• B  - low / high beam lamp, lamp type H4 (55/60 W);
• B  - front position lamp, lamp type W5W (5 W).

2. Check the operation of the bulbs in the fog lights. Lamp type H8 (35 W). Replace defective lamps. 

3. Check up operation of lamps in a back lantern. Replace defective lamps.

The following types of lamps are used in the rear light:

• A  - brake light and tail light lamp, lamp type P21 / 5W (21/5 W);
• B  -  rear direction indicator lamp, lamp type W16W (16 W);
• B  - reversing light lamp, lamp type W16W (16 W).

4. Check up operation of a lamp of a back antifog lantern. Lamp type P21W (21 W). Replace defective lamp.

5. Check up work of a lamp of an additional stoplight. Lamp type W18W (18 W). Replace defective lamp.

6. Check up operation of lamps of lateral indexes of turn. Bulb type WY5W (5W). Replace defective lamp.

7. Check the operation of the license plate lamps. Lamp type W5W (5 W). Replace defective lamp.
